New Faces, Familiar Chaos

A new chapter for Student Council is about to begin!

Today, we had the chance to meet the new members we recruited, and I have to say, they are already bringing so much energy to the team. Everyone was excited to meet one another, and the room quickly filled with conversations, laughter, and the slightly chaotic atmosphere that somehow makes Student Council meetings so memorable.

As someone who has spent time working with the council, meeting a new group of members always feels exciting. Every recruitment brings in people with different personalities, perspectives, and ideas. I am especially looking forward to seeing what they will contribute to our upcoming events and how we can work together to turn those ideas into something students will enjoy.

Of course, not every moment was serious or productive. One of my favorite parts of the day was taking silly pictures with one of my friends who is also an old staff member. We could not resist being a little ridiculous in front of the camera, and the photos perfectly captured the mood of the day.

I think moments like these are an important part of being in a team. Yes, there are meetings, deadlines, responsibilities, and plenty of planning behind every school event. But there are also friendships, inside jokes, and little memories that make all the hard work worthwhile.

I am excited to work with our new members in the future, learn from their ideas, and watch them grow more confident in their roles. I hope we can create an environment where everyone feels comfortable contributing, trying new things, and making mistakes along the way.
